Our Story
Figs Beanery & Creamery was established September of 2012 by the Newton family, located on the corner of Main Street and Earle in the heart of downtown Anderson, South Carolina.
The site of our store dates back to the early 1930s. It was originally a Sinclair Gas Station, where residents of the area bought gas and other amenities. We try to respect the space's history by incorporating antiques in our decor.
In September of 2018, we changed our name to Figs Cafe & Farmacy and expanded. We renovated our space by adding a Market, where we feature local goods and produce from all over the region. We also expanded our coffee shop.
Our dear owner, Jimmy Newton passed away in June 2023. We continue to run Figs as he would have like to honor the incredible legacy he left behind.
Figs has become a favorite destination in Anderson for all ages because of its great food, coffee, ice cream and outdoor area and decor. We hope you will enjoy our shop as much as we do!
